We are seeking a skilled Pavior to join our dynamic Housing Repairs & Investment team for a temporary three-month period. The role involves performing paving and external property repairs across council housing properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of paving, pathway, and hard landscaping tasks, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This position requires practical expertise, exceptional craftsmanship, and the ability to work autonomously.
Responsibilities
Execute paving repairs and renewal projects on council properties.
Install and repair slabs, pathways, block paving, and hardstanding areas.
Identify defects and determine appropriate repair strategies.
Accurately measure and set out work areas.
Safely operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
Document completed work and materials utilised.
Communicate effectively with tenants, residents, and housing officers.
Operate company vehicles as needed.
Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in optimal condition.
Address emergency repairs and assist broader repair teams when necessary.

Requirements:
City & Guilds in Construction Operations, NVQ equivalent, or demonstrable experience at a similar level.
Proven experience in paving and external repair work.
Proficiency in accurately measuring and laying:
Slabs
Pathways
Block Paving
Capability to diagnose repair needs and select appropriate materials and tools.
Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety protocols.
Possession of a full UK Manual Driving Licence.
No DR10 or DG10 disqualifications within the past 5 years.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Desirable
Experience in Social Housing or Local Authority repair environments.
Familiarity with handheld technology and mobile working systems.
Multi-trade repair experience.
Proficiency in operating plant, powered tools, and access equipment.
