A local authority in Bristol is seeking a Pay and Benefits Support Advisor to join its HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with payroll, pensions, or HR administration experience looking to join a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing payroll and employee data using HR and payroll systems.
Responding to pay, pensions, and benefits queries from employees and managers.
Calculating statutory payments, over-payments, and pension-related information.
Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies.
Supporting audits, quality assurance checks, and compliance activities.
Assisting with payroll system improvements and process changes.

About You:

Experience in payroll, HR administration, pensions, or employee benefits.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Experience with HR/payroll systems (iTrent experience advantageous).
Ability to work to deadlines and manage a varied workload.
