Job Description - Payments Specialist

We're hiring for a Payments Administrator to join a team, in Bristol. On offer is a basic salary up to £30,000 per annum, early finish on a Friday and free onsite parking. They are looking for somebody that has experience within Credit Control, managing unpaid invoices and liaising with customers to reinitiate direct debits. Therefore, you'll need to be finance savvy but be a good communicator too!

The role of Payments Administrator involves:

  • Matching, checking and coding of new invoices.
  • Involved in purchase and sales ledger duties.
  • Making outbound calls to existing customers to discuss payments.
  • Identifying with customers any issues around paying invoices.
  • Reinstating direct debits with customers to continue business.
  • Being understanding with customers to resolve the issues.

For the Payments Administrator role, you need:

  • Previous experience chasing and processing customer payments.
  • Understanding of credit control processes.

As the Payments Administrator, you'll get:
