Responsibilities

• payroll responsibilities primarily involve accurately calculating and processing employee pay checks, managing tax deductions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, resolving payroll issues, and maintaining accurate payroll records, all while utilizing specialized payroll software to streamline the process

Requirements

• Proven experience in a payroll or accounting role, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software; experience with PeopleSoft, Workday, or QuickBooks is highly desirable.
• Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all transactions.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and their integration into payroll processes. Sage being the main system used.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and provide insights for improvement.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines.
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with employees across various departments.
