Job Description - Payroll Administrator

JOB TITLE: Payroll Administrator
SALARY: Up to £30,000
STRUCTURE: Office Based
LOCATION: Kent

JGA are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join a leading firm in Kent within a Client / Bureau Setting

Responsibilities:

Oversee full-cycle payroll processing for a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.
Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of payroll records in line with RTI requirements.
Respond to client inquiries related to benefits, expenses, and payroll deductions.
Handle BACS submissions, auto-enrolment duties, and statutory payments including student loans and maternity pay.
Generate and distribute P45s, P60s, and payroll journals, ensuring compliance with HMRC guidelines.
Serve as the primary contact for all payroll-related queries and support.

Skills required:

Proven experience in payroll administration, including working with multiple client payrolls.
High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, experienced in engaging with clients via phone, email, and video conferencing.
