This organisation with an office in Lytham St. Annes offers a warm, supportive culture with values at the heart of what they do. From wellbeing and development initiatives to social activities and community involvement, the business prioritises people as much as performance.

This is more than just a payroll job - it's a chance to be part of something meaningful and make an impact in a company that truly values its people.

Description

You'll be involved in all areas of payroll delivery and support over 1,000 colleagues across the UK.

Key responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator will include:

  • Calculating statutory payments (sickness, maternity, paternity, etc.)
  • Recording absence and managing associated data
  • Handling timesheets, attachment of earnings, and payroll queries
  • Supporting benefit schemes including pensions and childcare vouchers
  • Assisting with producing reports and analysis (e.g. Gender Pay Gap, National Living Wage)
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects, including system upgrades
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for internal stakeholders

Profile

This role would suit someone who takes pride in getting the details right and enjoys being part of a team that's collaborative, caring, and forward-thinking. Ideally the Payroll Administrator will bring:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll
  • Strong Excel skills (including vlookups)
  • A proactive mindset with excellent time management
  • Great communication skills - written and verbal
  • Confidence in making sound decisions
  • A flexible, team-first attitude
  • A willingness to embrace new systems and processes

Previous experience in a multi-site or retail environment is a plus, as is exposure to system change projects.

Job Offer

If you're looking for a role where you'll be trusted, supported, and encouraged to grow, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Competitive salary
  • Subsidised parking
  • Commutable location
  • Warm and vibrant culture
  • Staff discounts
  • Award winning company
