Payroll & Pensions Administrator

Location: Birmingham | 6 Month FTC | Salary: £28k | Hybrid

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Payroll & Pensions Administrator to join our client in Birmingham. In this role, you’ll support the smooth running of our payroll and pension processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer pension schemes (LGPS, SHPS, AVCs) and auto-enrolment processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and process payroll changes (starters, leavers, deductions).
• Reconcile pension contributions and support third-party payments.
• Run and validate monthly payroll reports.
• Provide first-line support for payroll and pension queries.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with integrated HR/payroll systems in a large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, auto-enrolment, and pension schemes.
• Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive data with professionalism.
• Must have experience with LGPS and SHPS
