Payroll Advisor

Job Summary

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a Manufacturer based in Warrington who are looking for a Payroll Advisor to join them on a Permanent basis.

Key Duties/Tasks:

To provide comprehensive advice to customers and directors in relation to payroll queries
Support the processing and running of the end to end weekly payroll
Support the busy payroll department high volume starters and leavers
Ensuring current payroll legislation knowledge is up to date and in line with HMRC, with procedures updated accordingly.
Strong Excel

The role:

Payroll Advisor to process a weekly payroll from start to finish across multiple sites
Set up and pay new starters
Process leavers and applicable termination payments
Calculate Redundancy payments
Calculate and pay SMP, SPP, SSP and sick pay
Deal with payroll queries
