As a Payroll Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our workforce. Your proficiency in Sage 50 Payroll software is essential for this position, as you will utilize it to manage payroll transactions, comply with financial regulations, and support employee inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process payroll using Sage 50 Payroll software for all employees, ensuring compensation is calculated correctly and on time.
• Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of personal data.
• Ensure compliance with payroll-related laws and regulations, including tax withholdings and benefit deductions.
• Address and resolve payroll inquiries from employees in a timely manner.
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute payroll reports and summaries for review by management.
• Assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes related to payroll management.
• Collaborate with HR and management to ensure seamless payroll operations and accuracy.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar payroll-focused role, specifically with Sage 50 Payroll software.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in using Sage 50 Payroll software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in numerical calculations and data entry.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to assist employees with their payroll queries.
• Sensitivity to confidential information and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
