What will the Payroll Officer role involve?

Managing the accurate processing of staff salaries, expenses, and third-party payments to ensure timely releases
Administering pension schemes and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations
Providing a professional and customer-focused payroll support service to staff and external agencies
Liaising effectively with internal departments and external bodies to ensure smooth payroll operations
Assisting the Payroll Manager in maintaining payroll procedures and supporting continuous process improvement
Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Officer vacancy:

Solid experience in payroll administration, ideally within a complex environment
Knowledge of pension schemes, statutory payroll compliance, and expense processing
Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills
Effective communication skills with a professional manner to build rapport across teams
Proactive mindset and a willingness to learn new systems and procedures
