Job Description - Payroll Apprentice

(MUST LIVE LOCALLY, WITHIN 5-10 MILE RADIUS OF TUNBRIDGE WELLS, KENT)

Looking for a lively, sociable team within a top-tier finance firm?

A fantastic entry level Payroll opportunity has become available, offering full support and sponsorship for CIPP Payroll qualifications (up to Masters level), paving the way for a successful financial career!

Your Role:

Reviewing and validating payroll information
Updating and handling data using Excel
Engaging with clients to confirm details are correct
Overseeing payroll for 150 clients

What We're Looking For:

Strong Maths background – GCSE Grade 6/B or higher in Mathematics
Advanced Excel knowledge – confident with formulas and pivot tables
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills – comfortable speaking with clients
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Package:

Competitive Salary: Up to £26,000
Hours: Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM
Location: 10 min walk from free parking
Dress Code: Smart Casual
Holiday Entitlement: 20 Days + 8 Bank Holidays
Benefits: Auto Enrolment Pension, Healthcare
