We are supporting an award-winning, multidisciplinary professional services business in their search for a Payroll Clerk. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and technically strong payroll services across a portfolio of clients.

• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, handling queries confidently, pragmatically, and calmly, including supporting prospect discussions.

• Support the supervision and mentoring of a Payroll Officer, ensuring accuracy and consistency of work.

• Manage relationships with colleagues who provide payroll administration support.

• Use automation tools, CRM workflows, and established processes to maximise efficiency and accuracy.

Candidate Profile

The successful Payroll Clerk will be:

• A strong payroll technician, ideally with experience gained in a bureau environment.

• Confident in communicating with clients, with a personable and pragmatic approach.

• Comfortable working with technology and automation, including payroll software, CRM systems, and workflow tools.

• Someone who enjoys being part of a multidisciplinary team and appreciates the variety of working across HR, payroll, pensions, and benefits.
