This is a fantastic 12 month FTC for a senior payroll specialist.

We’re seeking a Payroll Lead to join a dynamic and collaborative team, supporting the delivery of a high-volume, complex payroll service for colleagues across the UK and ROI.

In this hybrid role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, statutory compliance, and the smooth administration of pensions and employee benefits. You’ll also act as a go-to expert for escalations, support continuous improvement projects, and help shape the future of payroll operations.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the end-to-end monthly payroll process with precision and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with all statutory deductions, HMRC returns, and pension schemes
• Support and guide the payroll team, sharing knowledge and best practices
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external partners to deliver a seamless service
• Drive improvements in systems, processes, and customer experience

What we’re looking for:

• CIPP qualified (or working towards it), or equivalent experience in a high-volume payroll environment
• Strong knowledge of PAYE, NI, statutory payments, salary sacrifice, and benefits
• Confident using integrated HR/payroll systems and advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
• A proactive, detail-oriented team player with excellent communication skills
• Resilient under pressure and passionate about delivering great service
