Job Description - Payroll Manager

Title: Client Payroll Manager
Location: Manchester/Hybrid

JGA are delighted to be working with a successful organisation looking to add a Client Payroll Manager to its team!

Responsibilities include:

Managing a portfolio of clients
Answering client queries about their Payroll
Implementing specific improvement plans for individuals, teams or clients
Reviewing and acting upon all customer feedback
Liaising with internal stakeholders to help manage client payrolls
Complete all set tasks accurately and efficiently
Conducting account client reviews
Raising system bugs and improvement ideas with technical support
Working closely with payroll processors
Keeping up-to-date with payroll trends & industry developments

Skills & experience required:

Client payroll experience
Confident in communicating with clients
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business or other related field or associate’s degree combined with equivalent experience or equivalent
Proven experience with responsibilities for the full payroll cycle
Organised and detail-oriented
Ability to work well under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
