Payroll Officer

Change Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a growing manufacturing business with ambitious growth plans. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Payroll professional to run a number of monthly payrolls for circa 300 employees.

This is a stand alone role, and as such requires someone with demonstrable experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly end-to-end payroll across multiple group businesses (circa 300 staff total)
• Use of TA system to calculate hourly and shift based employees
• Maintain accurate payroll records in compliance with HMRC
• Administer pensions and auto-enrolment processes
• Payroll query resolution for employees
• Producing various reports for finance and management as well as statutory HMRC reporting
• Looking into process improvement

The ideal candidate will be used to running a payrolls for medium sized businesses, have a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and ideally have knowledge of the IPP payroll system (not essential). In return this role offers a very competitive salary package of £40k, with hybrid working and holidays rising to 25 plus banks (starting at 22).
