Payroll Officer

We're working with a respected and award-winning organisation in Sleaford to recruit a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. You'll be responsible for managing the full payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. You'll also play a key role in improving systems and supporting wider HR and finance functions.

Key Duties Include:

• Running monthly payroll, including pension submissions and HMRC filings
• Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and tax requirements
• Handling year-end processes and reconciliations
• Processing changes such as starters, leavers, statutory payments, and overtime
• Preparing payroll reports and BACs payment files
• Supporting onboarding by tracking new starter documentation
• Producing regular and ad hoc payroll data reports
• Reviewing and enhancing payroll systems and procedures

• Proven experience in payroll
