Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Location: Near Woodbridge, Suffolk
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Transport: Own transport required due to location

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join a friendly and supportive team in a well-established company near Woodbridge. This is a full-time, office-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely payroll services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payroll for weekly and monthly employees
• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate payroll records and reports
• Handle payroll queries from employees in a professional and timely manner
• Process starters, leavers, and changes to employee records
• Manage pension contributions and other deductions
• Liaise with finance and HR departments as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a payroll role (in-house or bureau)
• Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Own transport is essential due to the rural office location
