Payroll Officer required for a new permanent opportunity working for a well established business based in Tipton. You will be working as part of a small friendly payroll team and be responsible for the day to day running of a both a weekly and monthly payroll service for up to 600 employees from start to finish. Your duties will include inputting time-sheets, processing starters and leaving, holiday pay, sick pay, maternity and paternity pay, resolving payroll queries, processing employee expenses, processing sub contractor payroll and payroll month end.
My client is looking for an experienced payroll officer who is able to join the business and take complete ownership of the payroll function. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and working knowledge of computerised payroll software and Microsoft Excel. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who has a keen eye for detail who enjoys improving procedures and processes. My client is offering a pleasant working environment, on site parking and 25 days holiday. This is an office based role so would suit someone who lives local to the Tipton area.
