We're recruiting for a part-time Payroll Officer to join a friendly finance team. The role involves managing payroll for a medium-sized workforce, supporting reporting and compliance tasks, and assisting with general finance duties. Your new role
Your new role will see you reporting directly to the HR Manager, where you'll be asked to fulfil various responsibilities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Process monthly payroll for a large team- Manage employee changes, statutory payments, and payroll adjustments
- Reconcile timesheets and prepare payroll reports
- Submit required filings and returns
- Support year-end payroll tasks and reporting
- Respond to staff queries and liaise with external providers
- Assist with data analysis and audit preparation
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will possess:
Previous experience in payroll administration
Strong numerical and analytical skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in spreadsheet use and financial systems
A proactive and professional approach to work
The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
