Payroll Officer role waiting to be filled

Venn Group have been approached by a Public Sector Company, and would like to introduce the following available position

Position:          Payroll Officer

Location:         Harrogate

Salary:            £25,000 per annum

Length:            Permanent  

Hours:             35 hours p/week

The role will predominantly involve:

• To contribute to systematic checks of permanent information held electronically and by other mediums, to ensure that it is valid and correct
• Understand and implement agreements relating to pay, conditions of service (such as Agenda for Change) and pension regulations.
• Liaise with other members of Finance and the Training departments to resolve queries which may occur.
• Liaise when appropriate with employees, managers and outside agencies on matters relating to role, ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with politely

The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar role, and be available at short notice.
