Payroll Senior

Portfolio Payroll is delighted to be representing a leading accountancy practice in central Sheffield that are looking for an experience payroll candidate to join their going business.

They are going through a period of growth in their client portfolio and are ideally looking for an experienced bureau/client payroll candidate to support and grow in the organisation.

Key Duties/Tasks:

• Technical skills in payroll such as relevant systems & strong excel skills
• Support the busy payroll department

• High volume and fast paced role
• Managing your own portfolio of clients
• Client payroll experience ideally
• Using Brightpay system

• Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries over the phone and by email
• Working to multiple deadlines
• Manual and automated calculations of tax and any other deductions
• Training and supporting more junior staff where needed

Normal working hours are 37.5 hours per week. Hours are typically 9:00am to 5.00pm with flexitime option and 1-hour unpaid break.
