Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while producing and validating payroll reports in line with internal procedures Create and maintain accurate employee payroll records by analysing, processing and validating incoming data from various workflow streams, ensuring compliance with current legislation. Investigate discrepancies, complete reconciliations and analyse variances Monitor service delivery against SLAs and escalate issues where necessary. Manage relationships with multiple outsourced payroll providers Respond to employee queries and support month-end, year-end and payroll reporting requirements Support the implementation and optimisation of HR and payroll systems. Assist with compensation and benefits administration as required. What we're looking for in a Payroll Specialist
Proven experience supporting a payroll process from end to end Strong understanding of tax laws, employment legislation and payroll regulations, including statutory payments and deductions CIPP qualification, or working towards Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and PivotTable functions, and experience importing and exporting data in and out of payroll systems Experience implementing or supporting HR/payroll systems would be desirable If you're ready to take the next step in your career and believe this Payroll Specialist opportunity is the right fit for you, we'd love to hear from you.
