Payroll Supervisor

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Supervisor to join their friendly team. The ideal candidate will manage the payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This position is suited for individuals with strong analytical skills and expertise in various payroll and accounting software systems.

• Oversee the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees.
• Maintain up-to-date payroll records, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
• Handle CIS schedules for both deductions and suffered payments.
• Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain the integrity of payroll information.
• Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Support the accounts payable department with payroll-related financial tasks.
• Stay informed about changes in payroll legislation and implement best practices to ensure compliance.

• Proven experience in a payroll leadership role or similar capacity within an HR or accounting environment.
• Proficiency in using payroll software, including Brightpay and other relevant applications.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to process complex data.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of current tax and national insurance regulations, statutory payments, CIS scheme, and holiday payments calculations.
