JGA are partnered with a long-standing Chartered Accountancy Practice in Harrogate, who are seeking a Payroll Supervisor to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with our accounting, audit, and tax teams, with occasional administrative support as needed.
Assist in the preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payrolls for a diverse client base.
Ensure clients remain fully compliant with statutory obligations, including PAYE/NIC, pensions, and other legal requirements.
Operate and manage payroll processes using BrightPay payroll software.
Demonstrate a strong understanding and proven experience in payroll processing.
Exhibit high levels of computer literacy and confidence in using various software tools.
Deliver outstanding client service and work effectively as part of a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate:

4+ years payroll experience.
Previous experience in a similar position within an accountancy firm.
Experience processing client payrolls.
Experience working also multiple payrolls.
End to end payroll experience.
Strong systems and computer skills.
Personable and good communication skills.
