Payroller

Accountancy Recruit is partnering with an Accountancy Practice based on the outskirts of South West Manchester, in the recruitment of a Payroller. The Accountancy Practice provides a range of services including Accounts Preparation / processing, Tax Compliance & Planning, Business Advice and Payroll services to a wide variety of business sectors: both Limited companies and individuals or partnerships.

You will be responsible for providing the payroll services to multiple clients, but also have the support of a collaborative team.

Duties will include:

• Acting as the primary interface between clients on all payroll and pension matters.
• Preparing multiple payrolls for approximately 180 clients on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis using SuperPay (training will be given).
• Payrolls vary from small, limited companies to Directors only.
• Gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
• Submitting payroll reports.
• Ensuring payment summaries and reports are sent to deadline.
• Complete year end returns for submission to HMRC.
• Produce P60s, P45s and P11ds
• Calculating SSP, SMP and SPP
• Calculating hours, holiday and overtime payments.
• Pension administration and compliance / auto enrolment.
• Dealing with payroll queries.

Requirements & Skills

• Experience of preparing multiple client payrolls within an Accountancy Practice would be an advantage
• You will need to be skilled in processing and managing multiple payrolls to deadline and be familiar with payroll and pension compliance.
• Good IT skills including spreadsheets.
• Good client/customer service skills.
• Good organisation and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Benefits

• Salary: £34-37,000 pro rata
• Holiday: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Hours: Monday to Friday – 9.00 am to 5.30 pm (37.5 hours per week)
