Job Description - Payroller - 6 Month Contract

Broster Buchanan are recruiting for a Payroller on a 6 month contract to be based in Peterborough.

To ensure a robust and flawless monthly payroll service is provided and customer expectations are met. You will be responsible for circa 1300 employees.

Responsible for own payroll from start to finish.
Prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines and service levels are met.
Provide administrative support to colleagues and other teams.
Owning and co-ordinating some monthly International Payrolls.
Support the UK Payroll Manager in systems upgrade testing and payroll system maintenance.
Ensure HMRC RTI submissions are accurate, completed and submitted within timescales.
Work closely with UK Payroll Manager to ensure tax year end reporting to HMRC, closure of old tax year and setting up payroll for new tax year.
Produce regular and ad-hoc reports.
Administer reconciliation of flexible benefit scheme, gain approval and instruct Finance re payment.
Answer queries and be technical expert on payroll for key customers and stakeholders
Any other key activities to process payrolls in an effective and timely manner
Attend service reviews with key customers for payrolls worked on.
Assist the UK Payroll Manager as required

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
