Payroll/Ops Team Lead Accountant

40k-45k + 10% bonus

Hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 from home)

Halliday Marx have partnered with an excellent professional services business to hire a Ops Team Lead Accountant

Responsibilities

• Overview of new placements to ensure they're set up properly in accordance with our SOX requirements
• Monitoring operational and financial change requests and supporting the order to cash team
• Establishing and executing the milestone billing process, including obtaining relevant client approvals from the sales team
• Streamlining the time entry and approval processes across various clients
• Managing contractor expenses processing
• Reconciling contractor pay and invoicing as part of payment run and period end close
• Shared inbox monitoring
• Internal/external audit support
• Other ad hoc tasks

Requirements

• Experience within payroll and billing and accounts payable.
• Experience within professional services or a recruitment would be a huge advantage
• Experience supervising or leading teams
• Outstanding communication skills
