PBS Practitioner - Full Time – Hybrid working
£38,000 - £40,000 + £5,000 car allowance

Compass Associates are excited to be working with a fantastic organisation that provides support to individuals who have been diagnosed with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs. Their goals are to assist service users, give them opportunities to develop their skills, and live more independent lives.

The Candidate
Our client is looking for someone who is passionate about working within the healthcare sector and who has got previous experience working as a PBS Practitioner. The successful candidate will need to have a positive attitude, be patient and organised. You will be working across locations, both supporting young adults with learning disabilities, Autism and behaviours that challenge, so experience working in similar locations as well as experience with Positive Behaviour Support and/or experience of leading on strategies to support complex behaviours is essential for this role.

Responsibilities
Helping the operations and referrals team with assessments, transitions, and move-ins for new individuals.
Assisting the operations team in creating effective support plans.
Providing hands-on help during crises.
Training support teams on Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Person-Centered Active Support (PCAS), and reducing restrictive practices.
Performing functional assessments and applying PBS strategies.
Leading initiatives to improve care practices.

Requirements
Educated to degree level or equivalent in Positive Behaviour Support or Applied Behaviour Analysis
Excellent communication skills to deliver training and support to people within the organisation to adhere to company policy and procedures
Willingness to undertake PBS specific training
Willingness to undertake PROACT SCIP Instructor Training
Clean Driving License and ability to travel to services
