PBS Practitioner – Learning Disabilities – Remote

Salary:

£38,000 - £40,000 + £5000 car allowance

*Must have a Diploma in Positive Behaviour Support, UK driving license and own car*

Compass Associates is proudly working with a well-established provider of residential and supported living services for adults, to recruit a qualified Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.

This is a full time permanent position where you’d be based from home and travel to the supported living and residential services across the Midlands, to work directly with adults who have learning disabilities and autism. Your role will involve carrying out functional assessments, formulate support plans and implement PBS-based strategies. An important part of this role will be to work closely with the referrals team to support and advise on new referrals and transitions of service users.

In addition to your direct work with supported individuals, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver training on topics including Positive Behaviour Support and reducing Restrictive Practice, as well as help support staff during crisis situations.

Location
The successful candidate will be based from home and travel to the supported living and residential services across the Midlands. Travel will be across Northampton, Birmingham, Peterborough, South Leicester, Kettering, Corby and surrounding towns.

The Candidate
Essential criteria:
Diploma in Positive Behaviour Support
Significant experience working with adults who have autism spectrum conditions and/or learning disabilities
Must be willing to travel across the region for 3-4 days per week
Must have own car and UK driving license
Interview Process
This will be a a 2 stage interview process which will include a formal Teams interview and informal site visit.
