This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to work with modern heavy equipment in a clean, professional workshop environment with strong long-term progression opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections, assembly, testing, and preparation of new heavy plant equipment prior to customer delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring machines are delivered to the highest standards while supporting workshop operations and quality control processes. The Role: • Carrying out PDI inspections on new heavy plant equipment • Assembly, testing, and commissioning of machinery • Completing diagnostic checks and ensuring machines meet OEM standards • Identifying and rectifying faults prior to delivery • Completing all associated paperwork and inspection reports • Supporting workshop engineers and service teams where required • Maintaining high standards of health & safety and workshop housekeeping The Candidate: • Previous experience as a PDI Technician, Plant Fitter, Service Engineer, or Workshop Engineer • Background working on heavy plant, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, or similar • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding skills • Experience using diagnostic equipment advantageous • Motivated and professional attitude with strong attention to detail • Full UK Driving Licence The Benefits: • Competitive salary with overtime available • Excellent training and OEM product exposure • Long-term progression opportunities • Stable and growing business • Modern workshop environment • Pension scheme and additional company benefits NEOS Engineering are acting as an employment agency for this vacancy.
