NEOS Engineering are currently working for a well respected & well known Plant Hire business who are currently looking to add to their team, they are looking for a PDI Technician to join the business to ensure quality of product to their clients!
The ideal candidate for the role is someone who has previous experience working with any type of plant equipment as a Fitter or PDI. You will be mechanically minded and have a passion for the sector, ensuring the quality of machinery leaving the business is up to your own very high standards.
The day to day role of a PDI Technician to ensure the piece of machinery leaving the company is in the best way possible before going back out to hire. You will be required to carry out jet washing, painting, basic mechanical and electrical repairs and going through a check list to ensure the product is perfect for hire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who is looking to keep their hand in for someone trying to find there way into the trade.
The ideal candidate will:
No previous experience is required but would be beneficial
Take responsibility for the safety, standard and quantity of their work
Hold a full UK driving licence
Role and Responsibilities:
To undertake maintenance plant vehicles and make sure they meet company standards
Record all repair operations as required by the company and the manufacturer
Work in a safe and professional manor, operating to health and safety standards
Identify additional work and maintenance requirements on vehicles
