Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in North Shields. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who can deliver engaging Physical Education lessons and motivate pupils of all abilities to participate, develop new skills and enjoy being active.

You'll play an important role in helping young people build resilience, confidence and teamwork. From practical lessons and fitness activities to extracurricular clubs and school events, you'll bring energy, creativity and high expectations to the wider school community.

What you'll be doing

Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Differentiating activities to support pupils with varying abilities
Promoting teamwork, resilience and positive sportsmanship
Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and participation
Supporting extracurricular clubs, fixtures and school events
Creating an inclusive environment where every pupil feels encouraged
Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school community

What we're looking for

You'll hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for Physical Education.

You'll also be:

Able to motivate pupils with different interests and abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
