Long-Term PE Teacher | September to December | Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

Teach is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school to recruit a dedicated PE Teacher to join their team from September until December. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys inspiring young people to develop their confidence, teamwork and passion for physical education.

Working Pattern: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Duration: September – December
Hours: 8:15am – 3:30pm (may vary depending on the school)

The Role

As the successful PE Teacher, you will be responsible for:

* Delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons to secondary-aged students.

* Planning, preparing and assessing lessons in line with the national curriculum.

* Encouraging students to participate in a range of sporting activities while promoting healthy lifestyles.

* Managing behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.

* Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback.

* Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the wider school community.

* Following all school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour procedures.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who has:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

* Experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting.

* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

* Strong organisational and communication skills.

* A positive, proactive and flexible approach to teaching.

* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Salary

Salary will be dependent upon proven experience, qualifications, and the expectations and requirements of the role.
