We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a high-achieving mainstream school in Northampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching PE across KS3 to KS5 on a full-time basis. The school boasts outstanding sports facilities, a strong extracurricular programme, and a highly supportive department. Applications are welcomed from both ECTs and experienced PE teachers.

Experience and Qualifications

• PE Teacher able to teach across KS3 to KS5


• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for physical education


• A teaching qualification with QTS


• Legal right to work in the UK

Specific Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging and high-quality PE lessons


• Organising and leading extracurricular sports activities and competitions


• Assessing and recording student progress effectively


• Creating a positive and safe learning environment


• Encouraging student participation and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle


• Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community

Salary

The salary will be paid in line with the teacher pay scale (MPS/UPS).
