Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality PE lessons aligned with the national curriculum and the school's sporting ethos, encompassing a variety of sports and physical activities.


• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual development and skill enhancement.


• Contribute to the school's extracurricular sports program, potentially coaching teams and organizing events.


• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the PE department and across the school to enrich the overall student experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.


• Proven experience teaching PE at the secondary level.
