The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Peatland Hydrology Expert to join a respected Water Environment team, leading on specialist consultancy services across the residential, renewable energy, and utilities sectors.
You’ll take responsibility for the technical direction of complex peatland projects – from feasibility studies and restoration design through to policy-compliant assessments.

What’s Required?

The ideal candidate for the role will have some of the following:

• Strong experience in peatland hydrology, restoration, and management - ideally in a consultancy setting

• Chartered status with a relevant professional body

• Experience delivering policy-compliant peatland assessments, with advanced knowledge of relevant planning legislation and the Peatland Code

• A proactive, collaborative mindset with experience mentoring junior staff
