PECS/MAKATON Experienced Teaching Assistant - Barnet

Location: Barnet

Salary: £90 - £100 per day

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

End date: Ongoing

Year group: EYFS-KS2

Tradewind are seeking strong Teaching Assistants who are eager to support children with communication difficulties. This includes children with needs such as ASD, SEMH and Global Delay that require an experienced individual to support them access the learning.

About the role:

Working with Children who have communication needs/ speech delay
Lead interventions when necessary
Create stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progress
Track pupil progress and work collaboratively with the class teacher
Help to set up and tidy up at the start and end of lessonsRequirements:

Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant is essential
Must have lots of initiative and a pro-active approach
Bachelor's degree is ideal but not essential
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
