We're partnering with a UK-wide organisation undergoing an exciting period of transformation. Following significant investment, a newly refreshed leadership team and the creation of a central head office, the business is building a modern, proactive people function and this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of that journey. Working closely with a supportive People Director and Head of People, you'll play a key role in shaping manager capability, improving people practices, and driving positive change across a workforce of 500 employees nationwide. This is a hands-on role that combines Employee Relations, coaching, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing in this People Advisor role:
Managing a varied Employee Relations caseload including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance matters. Coaching and supporting managers through people-related challenges. Providing pragmatic, commercially focused HR advice. Building strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple UK locations. Supporting organisational change and people initiatives. Helping develop manager capability through training and ongoing guidance. Contributing to policy development and best practice improvements.
What we're looking for in this People Advisor role:
Minimum 5 years HR experience in an advisory capacity. CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards). Confident handling ER cases from start to finish. Strong employment law knowledge. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Comfortable travelling across the UK when required. Experience in operational environments such as logistics, manufacturing, distribution, retail, engineering or unionised settings would be highly advantageous.Why apply?
