Job Description - People & Culture Advisor

People & Culture (HR) Advisor
Location: Bicester & Regional Oxfordshire Offices (Three days per week in the office)
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum plus extensive benefits including 28 days annual leave plus BH, generous pension scheme & more
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We’re seeking a proactive and knowledgeable People & Culture Advisor to join a dynamic team dedicated to fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture.

About the Role:

As a P&C Advisor, you’ll provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees across a wide range of HR matters. You’ll play a key role in delivering the organisation’s people strategy, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant practices that enhance employee experience and organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and professional HR advice on employee relations, performance, and absence management.
  • Lead of Learning and Development initiatives, creating and rolling out training to Managers across the organisation.
  • Manage employee relations cases from initial advice through to resolution.
  • Analyse HR data to identify trends and support strategic decision-making.
  • Support the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, probation, and exit processes.
  • Maintain and improve HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and organisational needs.
What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • Previous experience as a HR Advisor or similar role.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload with strong attention to detail.
