Reporting to the People and Culture Business Partner, you'll be the go-to person for people matters, offering practical, timely, and thoughtful support to managers and employees alike. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll work across a wide range of departments and levels, building trusted relationships and helping teams navigate the everyday and the extraordinary.



You’ll be turning the big ideas from the people and culture plan into meaningful actions that support our people and our business. Whether it’s coaching a manager through a tricky situation, supporting a new starter’s onboarding journey, or contributing to our engagement and development programmes, you’ll play a key part in building a culture where everyone can do their best work.



We’re looking for an experienced HR professional who brings a positive, people-first mindset and a passion for making a difference. You’ll be comfortable operating at pace, with a strong focus on delivery, using strong interpersonal skills to juggle priorities while staying approachable and solution-focused.



How You Will Make an Impact?



Supporting People and Managers Every Day


· You will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, offering thoughtful coaching and guidance on people-related matters.


· You’ll handle employee relations issues fairly and sensitively, always striving for respectful and constructive outcomes.


· Supporting the People & Culture Business Partner you’ll spot trends and potential risks, and work proactively to support a positive, inclusive culture. You will act as a change agent driving continuous improvements.


· Working with the Head of People & Culture (Strategic Projects & Operations) you’ll lead and support employee engagement initiatives that bring our values to life and create space for employee voice and help build strong, two-way communication across teams.



Delivering the Employee Journey


You’ll support the full employee lifecycle, from planning and recruitment, to onboarding, development, and beyond, keep our HRIS (Bamboo) up to date, making sure our people data is accurate and meaningful.



You’ll play a key role working with Head of People & Culture (Strategic Projects & Operations) to improve our HR processes and policies to ensure they’re efficient, clear, modern, and people-friendly, while remaining compliant.



Overall, you’ll communicate with clarity and warmth, whether it’s writing a letter, creating a presentation, or having a conversation.



Growing Talent and Culture


Working with the Head of Talent Management you’ll help coordinate and deliver our annual Talent Management cycle, by encouraging a feedback-rich culture, modelling our ways of working.



You’ll help others grow to be the best they can be by supporting learning, wellbeing, and culture initiatives that make work more engaging and fulfilling for everyone.

KEY SKILLS


Essential


· Significant experience working in an HR role, with prior experience working at HR Advisor level or equivalent


· Experience of providing HR support to a wide range of managers and employees, including


o Production, warehouse, maintenance


o Professionals such as Finance, IT, Sales and Marketing, Customer services


· Impactful and influential people skills, able to influence outcomes


· Excellent communication skills, both oral and in writing. Able to produce high quality written communication


· Able to understand and use evidence and/or data to make informed decisions


· Self-sufficient, resilient, structured, organised and disciplined


· Good time management skills with the ability to turn work around quickly and accurately


· Strong working knowledge of MS Office


· Full UK driving licence and able to travel nationally




Desirable


· Fully qualified CIPD member at level 7


· Tech and AI savy


· Experience of working within regulated industry, such as medical devices


· Relevant experience within a mid-sized private sector employer, used to working without extensive head office resource


· Experience of working within a family owned business


· Experience of working with Bamboo suite of HR software
