People Assistant

Are you organised, proactive, and passionate about people? Our client, a leading lifestyle business, is looking for a friendly and approachable HR Assistant to be the heartbeat of their Human Resources team!

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll be the first point of contact for all HR queries—supporting employees from their very first day. You’ll take ownership of a wide range of HR admin tasks including onboarding, contract changes, payroll updates, and everything in between, ensuring a smooth and seamless employee experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Be the go-to person for day-to-day HR enquiries
• Own the full employee lifecycle admin—from onboarding to offboarding
• Keep systems and trackers up to date and accurate
• Create letters and contracts, and support payroll and reporting
• Assist with exciting HR projects, audits, surveys and more
• Take minutes in formal meetings and support with documentation
• Help maintain our organisational charts and HR database

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in HR admin or assistant role
• Knowledge of HR processes and systems (CIPD a plus, but not essential)
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• A hands-on, proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, office-first environment
