People Assistant

Kingswood Group are delighted to be supporting our client, a growing commercial business in Chelmsford to recruit a permanent People Assistant.

The People Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support and providing an effective HR service.

Key responsibilities

• Answering calls, data entry, and filing
• Maintaining up-to-date employee records
• Providing first-line responses on policies and procedures
• Keeping policies and procedures updated as directed
• Assisting with new starter inductions and exit interviews
• Carrying out compliance checks for new employees
• Supporting with ad-hoc projects as required

Experience required

• Demonstrable experience working in a similar role HR role
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• CIPD qualified or working towards ? desirable
• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and work as a part of a highly regarded HR team. The role will be office based initially, with hybrid working available after an initial period.
