Job Description

We are seeking two People Business Partners to join our People team at our global headquarters in Crewe. These roles are designed for HR professionals who have built a strong operational foundation and are now ready to take the next step into a business-partnering career path.

This is a development role with clear exposure to stakeholders, people challenges and commercial decision-making, supported by senior People Business Partners and the wider People leadership team.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support people managers in delivering people plans aligned to business priorities.

  • Assist with performance management processes, including capability, absence and conduct cases.

  • Support organisational change activity, including restructures, consultations and role changes, under guidance.

  • Analyse people data and metrics to identify trends, risks and opportunities, producing clear and practical insights.

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training and development activity for managers and teams.

  • Coach and support line managers to build confidence and capability in managing their teams effectively.

  • Support continuous improvement of HR policies, processes and employee experience.

  • Ensure all people activity is compliant with UK employment legislation and internal governance.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience in an HR Advisory, HR Officer or HR Generalist role

  • Strong grounding in UK employment law and HR best practice

  • Confidence working with managers and handling day-to-day people issues

  • A proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn and get into the detail

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Commercial awareness and an interest in how people decisions impact business performance
