Job Description - People Business Partner

Our People Team is evolving, and we're looking for someone exceptional to join us as a People Business Partner. We're transforming into true strategic partners to our business stakeholders, helping them lead and make better people decisions. This role isn't just about processes and policies – it's about making a real impact. We're a lean team, which means you'll be hands-on, but the scope is incredibly broad. You'll gain fantastic exposure to senior leaders and work across a wide range of topics. We’d love to meet someone with a strong Employee Relations background who can help us build a progressive, sustainable business partnering function. If you've worked in a fast-paced tech environment, even better – you’ll feel right at home.


The role


As a People Business Partner, you’ll collaborate across our People Team functions and embed yourself within business units to provide tailored support. You’ll drive continuous improvement, use data-driven insights, and ensure that the People Team is proactive and integral to Rightmove’s growth and success.


What you’ll be doing



  • Acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders, guiding them on HR-related matters to align with their objectives.

  • Addressing and resolving employee concerns and conflicts, fostering a fair, positive, and inclusive workplace culture.

  • Providing expert advice and managing HR processes like disciplinary, grievance, and appeal procedures.

  • Coaching and supporting managers to drive meaningful performance conversations.

  • Analysing people data to uncover trends, inform decisions, and drive business outcomes.

  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and staying up to date with best practices.

  • Supporting change management initiatives, including restructures and future business needs.

  • Leading and driving projects that make a real difference to our team and the wider business.

What you’ll bring to the role:



  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proven experience as a People Business Partner

  • Demonstrated success in managing complex employee relations cases.

  • Strong analytical skills – you’ll love using data to drive decisions.

  • A knack for managing projects from start to finish.

  • Confidence in building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • A natural ability to resolve conflicts and drive positive outcomes.
