The Role

As a People Consultant, you’ll work with some of the UK’s most forward-thinking agricultural businesses. Your role will be primarily managing existing clients, developing new opportunities and working closely with the Managing Director. Your roles and responsibilities will include;

• Work with a wide range of progressive agricultural businesses, particularly in the dairy sector, improving retention, development and leadership.
• Identify and secure new clients, building strong relationships with business owners and leaders.
• Deliver our engaging training programmes, hands-on HR advice and succession planning advice.
• Help business owners and managers tackle people problems, develop their teams and become better leaders.
• Collaborate closely with our people management and recruitment divisions and contribute to the design of effective people strategies.
• Spend time researching new opportunities and business growth ideas.
• Liaise with our Finance & Operations Manager regarding ongoing work, needs and updates.
• Utilise and update the HubSpot CRM system & Excel trackers, inputting all relevant client data.
• Attend any relevant meetings either online or at our Solihull office.
• Be part of a team that believes culture, leadership, and communication on the farm matter just as much as livestock, land and yield.

• Be ambitious, self-motivated, and looking to develop yourself as a people expert in UK agriculture.
• Show that you are deeply interested in people and human behaviour - how people work, what motivates them, and how to bring out their best.
• Be confident enough to ask questions, take feedback, and step into new situations.
• Demonstrate you are comfortable with challenge and responsibility, working directly with clients on meaningful, sometimes complex issues.
• Demonstrate previous experience and exposure in the agricultural industry, ideally in Dairy Farming.
• Show excellent communication skills, building a strong relationship with all our clients and staff members.
• You will also need to show ability in using Microsoft packages and have good written English.
• A full UK clean Driving license
• Proof of UK right to work

• This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday
• Competitive salary package DOE
• 25 days holiday, plus your birthday off each year and all bank holidays off. We also offer a loyalty bonus of an extra day’s holiday for each year you work for us, up to 30 days per year (plus bank holidays).
