As People Operations Analyst, you'll be the front door to our People Team. You will be the first point of contact for employees and managers, and a key part of how we deliver a modern, data-driven and AI-enabled People function. You'll gain exposure to the full employee lifecycle, work closely with the Head of People & Talent, and see first-hand how HR operates inside a consultancy shaping public sector reform.

This is a genuine opportunity to learn quickly, contribute meaningfully, and build a long-term career in People, Talent, HR, Operations or People Analytics.

What you'll do

Employee lifecycle & operations

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, induction, probation, performance review and offboarding
  • Coordinate induction and probation, making sure new joiners and managers have the right information, support and documentation
  • Prepare and maintain employee records, contracts, offer letters and employment documentation

Systems & reporting

  • Maintain and update people systems, including HiBob, ensuring data is accurate and well managed
  • Support recruitment administration via Workable, including interview coordination and candidate communications
  • Produce regular people reports, dashboards and workforce insights to support decision-making
  • Support payroll, benefits, pay review and bonus administration

Projects & continuous improvement

  • Assist with learning, development, capability and career progression activity
  • Contribute to People and Enabling Team projects, process improvements and AI-enabled ways of working

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Confidence working with data, spreadsheets, systems and digital tools, and curiosity about technology and AI-enabled ways of working
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport across the business
  • Strong judgement, discretion and respect for confidentiality
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset, comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • A genuine interest in building a career in People, Talent, HR, Operations or People Analytics

Desirable:

  • Previous HR, recruitment, operations or administration experience
  • Experience with HR systems such as HiBob and Workable
  • Experience producing reports or working with people data
  • Relevant Business or HR degree-level qualification. CIPD qualification or willingness to work towards one — [ICC offers study support / funding towards CIPD, if applicable]
  • Available to start immediately or within a short notice period
