People Services Assistant

Berry Recruitment are recruiting for a People Services Assistant to join a reputable and growing business in bolton.

Salary: £14.10 per hour (£27.5k full-time equivalent)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for providing exceptional administrative support? Join our client as an People Services Administrator, where you'll play a key role in supporting employees throughout their journey.

• Deliver efficient administrative and transactional support across the employee life cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GDPR.

• Act as the first point of contact, handling people-related queries via phone, email, and our portal to enhance employee experience.

• Manage the onboarding process, from contract generation to pre-boarding checks, ensuring a smooth transition for new starters.

• Provide attendance management support, including absence notifications and fit notes, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.

• Assist with ad-hoc HR tasks, supporting the People Team to deliver outstanding service to the business.

? Strong administrative skills with great attention to detail.

? Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

? Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

? Understanding of HR processes and compliance (experience in an HR role is beneficial).
