This is an exciting opportunity to join the management team in Melton and Charnwood, with a focus on Waiting Well in our mental health teams. This would be an ideal opportunity for some wanting to progress their career into management.
We have secured funding for a dedicated Peripatetic Team Manager to lead a focused three-month programme designed to improve flow through the Adult Mental Health waiting list, strengthen Waiting Well practice and support the delivery of timely, strengths-based interventions for adults awaiting allocation.
You will provide operational leadership to increase capacity, support practitioners to resolve outstanding work, reduce waiting times and improve people's experience whilst waiting for longer-term responses.
This is an opportunity to lead service improvement, embed new ways of working and demonstrate how proactive leadership, partnership working and strengths-based practice can improve outcomes for adults with mental health needs.
About the Role
This is an opportunity to be part of an ambitious programme that is reshaping Adult Mental Health Social Care.
You will work alongside an experienced and supportive leadership team, influencing new ways of working that place prevention, strengths-based practice and partnership at the heart of service delivery.
Your work will directly contribute to improving people's experience of Adult Social Care by reducing delays, strengthening Waiting Well support and helping ensure adults receive the right intervention at the right time.
