Permanent Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist - High Pay in Birmingham!

Salary: Starting from £49,390 (dependent on experience and interview)
Location: Birmingham (regional role across multiple inpatient and recovery units)
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00
Start Date: 2-4 weeks
Duration: Permanent

As a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing professional leadership to OTs, OT Assistants, and Activity Workers across Birmingham sites

• Managing a small clinical caseload, delivering assessments, interventions, and recovery-focused treatment

• Leading the delivery and evaluation of therapeutic programmes, both group and individual

• Offering senior clinical leadership within the MDT and representing the occupational therapy voice

• Supporting service-users with complex and enduring mental health needs to achieve independence and recovery

• Ensuring compliance with HCPC standards and evidence-based best practice

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist

• Proven experience in mental health settings (essential)

• Strong clinical leadership skills with experience managing staff

• Experience working with adults with severe and enduring mental health diagnoses

• Ability to balance safety with therapeutic risk-taking in recovery-focused pathways

• Commitment to compassionate, person-centred, and high-quality care

This is a full-time permanent position, core hours 09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday.
