A well-established primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team on a permanent basis starting in April 2025. The Role:
- Supporting students across the primary school in both 1:1 and small group settings to help them achieve their learning goals.
- Working closely with the class teacher to adapt and deliver lessons, ensuring that all students have access to the curriculum and feel included in classroom activities.
- Providing support for students with a range of learning needs, helping them build confidence and independence.
- Assisting in the preparation of learning resources and supporting classroom management to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Monitoring students’ progress and offering feedback to the class teacher and parents when required.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
- Strong understanding of child development and how to support learning across the primary age range.
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive in helping children achieve their potential.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
